The Centre for Management Development (CMD) is an institute if the Federal Government drives human capital development function facilitate policies through public education. It was founded in 1773, and operated directly under the supervision of the Federal Ministry of Budget and National Planning. With campuses in each geopolitical zones of the country, the institute is designed to drive the vision, plans and programmes of the Federal Government through capacity development workshops and seminars.
CMD offers seminars in learning and development in learning and development programmes, quality assurance, economic management, business development and information management. There are also classes on research methodologies, professional courses and ICT programmes.
