Lagos State University (also known as LASU) is a state-owned degree-awarding institution. Founded in 1983, the University is located in Ojoo, Lagos State. Since inception the University has been at the forefront of the advancement of learning and establishment of academic excellence in Lagos and across the nation. With a population of about 35, 000 students, LASU is one of the few universities competing favourably with their Federal Government-owned counterparts.
