The University of Benin, also called UNIBEN, is located in Benin, Edo State of Nigeria. It was founded in 1970, and is currently one of the leading Federal Government-owned university in Nigeria. UNIBEN is reputed for its ground breaking research work in Agriculture, Public Health Engineering and Environment.
