Our Mission
Benson Idahosa University is a private Christian University providing state-of-the-art undergraduate, postgraduate and professional education. We are committed to the mission of raising leaders for the nation, who are complete in spirit, mind and body, thus contributing to the production of high-level leadership and quality manpower for the nation and the world. We perform these functions by judiciously utilising current information and communication technology, networking with similar institutions worldwide, putting people first in operations and emphasising Christian ethical values. The beneficiaries of the University’s service are students, employers of labour, present and future generations, Nigeria and the global community.
What is known as Bauchi State was, until 1976, a province in the Northern Eastern State of Nigeria. According to the census in 2006, the state has a population of 3.5 million inhabitants.
Bauchi State occupies a total land area of 49.259.01 sq.km representing about 5.3% of Nigeria’s total land mass and is located latitude 903’ and 1203’ North of the Equator. Longitudinally, the stated lies between Longitude 8050’ and 110 East of the Greenwich Meridian.
The state is bordered with by seven states; Kano and Jigawa to the North. Taraba and Plateau to the South, Gombe and Yobe to the East and Kaduna to the West.
Bauchi State University was established under the Bauchi State law promulgated in 2010. In March 2011 Bauchi State Government appointed a consultant to resolve all outstanding issues and put finishing touches necessary for the smooth take-off of the University to commence academic programmes in the 2011/12 session. Consequently, three campuses were approved, one in Gadau (Azare) which will be the main campus and home to the University’s apex administration, then Misau campus and Bauchi campus respectively.
By the end of second phase 2016/17 to 2021/22, Bauchi State University is expected to have the following faculties and programmes.

The vision of Bauchi State University is to become a center of excellence in scholarship in as many academic disciplines as may be needed in response to intellectual and other development needed of the people of Bauchi State in particular and nation at large.

Through its teaching and research activities Bauchi State University is expected to be a significant contributor in extending the various frontiers of knowledge for the benefit of its student and society at large.
The African University of Science and Technology (AUST) is a private, pan-african, coeducational, research university located in Abuja, Nigeria. The mission of AUST is to advance knowledge and educate students in science, technology, and other areas of scholarship that will best serve the African continent in the 21st century. AUST is dedicated to providing its students with an education that combines rigorous academic study and the excitement of discovery with the support and intellectual stimulation of a diverse international and diaspora community. We seek to develop in each member of the AUST community the ability and passion to work wisely, creatively, and effectively for the betterment of humankind.
FITC was established in 1981 as a non profit organisation limited by guarantee, based on the Company's Act of 1968, in response to the recommendations of the Pius Okigbo Committee set-up by the Federal Government of Nigeria to review the Nigerian financial system. It is owned by the Banker's Committee, which comprises of the Central Bank of Nigeria, the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation, all licensed banks and discount houses in Nigeria.
Business School Netherlands (BSNN) is a specialist business school established to practice scientific learning methodology & offer executive management education, management & NGO management programmes, MBA & doctorate programmes.
B.Y Mafit Limited (TOEFL in Nigeria) prepares students for TOEFL, IELTS, GRE, GMAT, SAT and other admissions processing in Nigeria.
The Alliance Francaise (French: l'Alliance Française) is a Nigerian non-profit institution whose statutes have been approved by the Alliance Française of Paris. The Institute is involved with the training and education of Nigerians, most especially Lagosians in the French language and culture.
The Institute was established in 1959. About 4,000 students register annually at the Institute for their programmes. It is the headquarters of the General Delegation of the French Alliance of Paris in Nigeria. There are ten sister locations in other parts of Nigeria including Enugu, Ibadan, Ilorin, Jos, Kano, Kaduna, Lagos, Maiduguri, Owerri and Port Harcourt. The Lagos Institute is the largest alliance in Africa. As one of the worldwide networks of Alliances, it works closely with the Alliance Française Foundation in Paris and the Nigerian government. As the operator leading to the promotion of French language and culture, it is supported by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The French Alliance is also bound by agreement to the Ministry of Education of Lagos State for a period of 10 years renewable under a continuing education program for French teachers of the state and it is directed by Philippe Lebreton who is also the Managing Director of the French Alliance in Nigeria.
The mission of the University is to provide the enabling environment for effective teaching and research in cutting–edge Science and Technology for sustainable development while it is to provide balanced education for self-reliance and self-actualization through development of entrepreneurial skills for national development.
