The Renaissance University is an idea and an ideal whose time has finally come. We are all conversant with what had happened to the Nigerian educational system out of which the University education has suffered innumerable punches from cheating at the UME and racket admission, lack of facilities, constant strikes by staff and students, secrets cultism, examination malpractice, bizarre academic calendar etc. The result of these punches is a University system that has been technically knocked out (TKO). The three conventional University competencies of Teaching, Research and Community Service have been completely compromised because none of the three is receiving the attention it deserves. The promoters of Renaissance thus conceived of a University that will bring a complete rebirth to the University education system in Nigeria. Our mission is to produce well trained and motivated graduates that are poised to accelerate national development with sound knowledge and application of innovations in science and Technology. Our vision is encapsulated in the essence of our name: “To be a centre of excellence for teaching, research and community service that empowers the individual to strive to the utmost development of humanity”.

Hezekiah University was established as a private university in May 2015 under the license of the Federal Government of Nigeria. The idea to start the Hezekiah University was initiated in 2004 after which the initial contact with the National Universities Commission (NUC) was made and the application forms for the establishment of the university were obtained to begin the process of obtaining license for the university. The university is a direct response of the Living Christ Mission Inc. to the crisis of access to university education facing the annual mass of qualified applicants seeking admission into existing Nigerian universities. The university is envisioned as the vehicle, amongst others already in place, by which the Church can influence its congregation, its immediate community and indeed Nigeria. The goal is to develop a world-class institution that shall be the pride of the Church’s congregation and indeed all Nigerians. It is in line with its focus, that the Church seeks to establish a university as is permitted under the Laws of Federal Republic of Nigeria. It is also in line with the mission, vision, aims and objectives of the Living Christ Mission Inc. and the wish to contribute to national development, and particularly to enhance educational opportunities for our teeming youths in quest of higher learning, that the idea of the Hezekiah University was conceived and has continued to be nurtured. The vision of the Hezekiah University is meant to contribute to national development through the provision of well-structured academic programs that are vital to the needs of individuals, who sincerely want to be skilled in various areas of human endeavors through academic instruction. The university shall nurture individuals who are naturally hardworking, creative, enterprising, ready to work for the common good and capable of making free and morally upright decisions and who can act as positive agents of change through research and development.
The formation of Nasrul-Lahi-Il-Fatih Society (NASFAT) - the Proprietor of Fountain University- was originally focused on prayer meetings for the Muslim elites, with a view to creating necessary opportunity for them to interact and rub minds with Islamic scholars on the one hand; and to enhance their knowledge about the principles and practices of Islam, on the other hand. Fountain University was granted an operational licence as a Private University on May 17, 2007 by the Federal Government on the recommendations of the National Universities Commission. Following this achievement, a Fountain Universities Strategic implementation Committee was set up to serve as “in loco Council” to actualise the birth of the University. This Committee worked tirelessly to put in place the necessary facilities for the University to take-off. The Committee was dissolved in September 2007 upon the inauguration of the Governing Council led by Professor N.O.Adedipe. The first Governing Council completed its first four Year in September 2011 after which it was reconstituted. The mission of the Fountain University is to provide competition and resourceful graduates with high moral standard. The University shall provide opportunity to all people irrespective of race, tribe, religion or political inclinations. These would be achieved through effective programmes and service based on provision of adequate facilities as well as professionally qualified and competent staff.
